RAU Architects writes “The building, also called the wooden cathedral, is a fully remountable building that sets the tone for innovative, circular and sustainable buildings around the world". The building was designed and developed by applying circular construction principles at every stage of construction.
The development of the new office building for Triodos Bank has had a positive effect on the local environment; it has even added 2,5 hectares of nature. Smart heat and cold storage was another innovative application. In 2021, Triodos Bank’s main office won the BREEAM award in the Commercial Project Category: Post Construction Award.
HC KP supplied and installed all the climate ceiling systems for the Triodos Bank project, along with integrated air distribution equipment from sister company Barcol-Air. With these climate ceiling systems, they made a significant contribution to the achieved sustainability and circularity goals.
Commissioned by the Dutch company Bosman Bedrijven, Coneco contributed to the measurement and control technology of the building management systems. In addition, Coneco supported soil drilling company Haitjema with the control technology of the ATES installation according to BRL 11000 and 6000-21: from project supervision and engineering, to software programming and commissioning.
