A project in which residences, businesses, shops, restaurants and cultural facilities are combined. The building embodies the desire of the city of Amsterdam to develop an urban district used for living, working and recreation.

Valley was designed by award-winning architect Winy Maas from MVRDV. Landscape architect Piet Oudolf designed the unique public landscape that is found throughout the entire building. A design resulting in an impressive green valley, featuring stairs and terraces that are accessible to the public and which provide an impressive view at the city of Amsterdam and its surroundings.

Valley combines sustainability ambitions with modern technology. The latest generation of smart technology is integrated in the office areas of Valley. Using sensor technology, the IP-based Building Management System provides actual data on occupation, that is used to adapt lighting, cleaning, energy and installation maintenance to actual use. Solutions that provide a healthy and comfortable working and living environment for the users of Valley.
